Located on the south-west coast of Victoria, Warrnambool is a regional city with a population of 33,922. It sits beside the Princess Highway and towards the western road of the well-known, Great Ocean Road. The town has a great love for Australian Rules Football and is the hometown of several high profile Australian Football League players. Agriculture also plays a large part in the town's economy, more specifically it's dairy farming industry.
Warrnambool usually sees over 715,000 visitors per year and is a bustling hub providing many services to the region. Southern Right whales can be spotted during the winter months and people are able to go out on whale watching boat tours. Logan's Beach acts as a kind of nursery, usually experiencing 1-3 female whales per year that give birth to calves in its waters. Other wildlife inhabitants include Australian Fur Seals, Dolphins and Little Penguins.
