Opportunity for an Owners Corporation Manager to manage a high rise portfolio with an iconic CBD asset

Your new company
Our client specialise in the management of apartment lots with their portfolio comprising of iconic residential towers and major city high rise developments. Working with major developers, they provide services from the development stage through to post occupancy. Due to a new portfolio consisting of large properties coming on board, they are looking to add an Owners Corporation Manager to their experienced team.

Your new role
You will establish and maintain effective reporting relationships with relevant Owners Corporations and will look after a portfolio of high rise properties consisting of 1400 lots (largest property is 500 lots). You will also provide services as mentioned below:

  • Managing the financial accounts of the Owners Corporation
  • Looking after insurance matters
  • Corresponding with key stakeholders such as owners, contractors, and other 3rd parties
  • Drawing up proposed new budgets each financial year
  • Organising the AGM, and sending out related notices, nominations etc
  • Chairing the AGM, and issuing the Minutes following the meeting
  • Attending to the calling of any EGM
  • Managing Committee issues, including calling of Committee Meetings and issuing Minutes of those meetings
  • Advising owners on matters of Body Corporate law and procedure and
  • Managing any dispute and resolutions that may arise

What you'll need to succeed

  • Minimum 3 years industry experience is desirable
  • Knowledge of the Owners Corporation Statutory Act
  • Attention to detail & accuracy
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written & verbal
  • Experience in attending VCAT
  • Proven ability in chairing Owners Corporation meetings
  • Experience with managing building defects
  • Proven experience managing high end portfolios
  • Current drivers license and vehicle is essential
