SCEE is currently recruiting an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical E&I Testing Supervisor to join our team on the Albermarle Kemerton Lithium Project based in the South West of WA

The Albemarle Kemerton Plant is a greenfield world scale Lithium Hydroxide Monohydrate production plant to be located at the Kemerton Strategic Industrial Area approximately 160 km south of Perth, Western Australia, and 17 km north-east of the existing port town of Bunbury.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the testing/commissioning works related to the construction completion and hand over of systems to client led commissioning group.
  • Set priorities for system turnover that allows for the safe testing of systems while the construction team completes and turns over the remaining systems.
  • Ensure all personnel maintain safe systems of work
  • Plan activities in accordance with standards and to minimise inefficiencies
  • Direct and coordinate the workforce for electrical and instrumentation requirements of the contract
  • Participate in safety investigations, reporting and discussions
  • Participate in Quality Assurance audits
  • Liaise with client and contractor representatives

To be successful in the role you will have;

  • 5 years + post trade supervisory experience in E&I Testing/Commissioning role in the Oil & Gas or mining industry.
  • An understanding and demonstrated commitment to WHS, risk management and hazard identification
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of on-site statutory requirements
  • WA 'A' Grade Electrical License
  • Cert IV in Hazardous Area-Electrical ID:UEE42611 (EEHA)
  • Valid CPR & LV Rescue certificate
  • Construction White Card
  • Valid WA Driver's License
  • Be living within a 100km radius of Australind (or Perth Based)
