Based in two locations across the Gold Coast, all of which have on site car parking, you will be working in a team that is humble, dedicated and motivated to produce state of the art products for their clients across a broad range of industries.
Your new role
As a Laboratory Assistant you will work closely with a team of research and development engineers in the development of renewable energy apparatus and concept with the view to move into commercial production. Your tasks will involve the following aspects however this is not an exhaustive list.
What you'll need to succeed
- Processing of lignocellulosic feed stocks, cellulose, ethanol, graphene composite, graphite, carbon fiber chemistry;
- Technical report writing, daily report and R&D reports;
- Participate in team R&D experiments, qualitative and quantitative analysis, extraction, distillation and titration;
- Validate and maintain laboratory equipment as needed;
- Perform in-process QC testing for trial batches.
To be successful in this role you will be experienced in the above mentioned task as well hold a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering. You will have worked in a similar R&D environment having supported and assisted in experimental work, preferably in renewable energy or alternative power generation.
