Townsville RDC - Receipt and Unloading Team Member
Due for completion in mid 2020, the Townsville Regional Distribution Centre will move up to 340,000 cartons per week, servicing customers from Sarina to Weipa with Fresh Produce and Meat products, eggs, milk and grocery lines.
The DC will boast a state of the art Warehouse Management Systems and Machinery, allowing for more frequent, efficient and fresher deliveries to stores year-round.
This PPT role requires the successful applicant to be able to work a Morning shift (starting from as early as 4am) during the 7 day working week. The successful candidate will be required to hold a valid Forklift Licence and enjoy working safely in a refrigerated environment.
Supply Chain is at the heart of Woolworths. It will be up to you as a Warehouse Team Member to ensure the millions of customers that pick Woolies each week can get the products they want-when, where and how they want.
Candidates with previous Warehouse Receipt and unloading experience is highly desirable. Training will be provifef to the successful candidates.
Performing checks on loads to ensure integrity of loads - checking against load list
Unloading Orders from Trucks using PPE (Forklift)
Following all Food Safety procedures - Checking temperatures of load

Abiding by Company policies and procedures in relation to Workplace Health and Safety to ensure a safe working environment for customers, team members and contractors
Ability to work in a refrigerated environment with Produce lines

Perform given duties or any combination of duties with minimum supervision
Excellent Numeracy and Literacy Skills - numeracy and literacy skills test may be performed at interview.
