We currently have the opportunity for a Demi Chef who is seeking career progression to join our friendly Kitchen Brigade. This position offers you the opportunity to work in a truly unique hotel property in an exceptional team environment that fosters training and development and career progression.

As Demi Chef, you will be reporting to the Head Chef & be required to assist the kitchen team and where necessary operate a section of the kitchen and ensure that food standards, preparation, presentation and cooking techniques are carried out according to established recipes and standards.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:

• Trade qualifications
• Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant in a similar role
• Being passionate about your craft and displaying very high standards of food production and presentation
• Impeccable grooming and personal presentation
• Leading and motivating a section
• Flexibility to work various shifts including week-ends, nights and public holidays
• Excellent communication skills
• A working understanding of and the ability to maintain food safety standards and HACCP
• Being a true hospitality professional dedicated to providing customer service excellence
