The Greenmountain Group of businesses is Australia's largest family-owned and operated vertically integrated beef and veal production and processing operation. Greenmountain specializes in growing and sourcing naturally bred, naturally fed beef and veal to be processed at our modern export food processing establishment at Coominya in the Lockyer Valley of south-east Queensland.

Greenmountain takes pride in being able to offer full-time positions with extensive opportunities for career development with the vast majority of the company's production supervisors, middle and upper management who have commenced their careers at Greenmountain in entry-level production roles.

The company has several entry-level roles available inside of its slaughter floor and boning room operations for both males, and females. The roles available are as follows; Beef packing, On-floor computer operating, entry-level knife handjobs, entry-level slaughter jobs, general laboring.

Successful candidates are hired as full-time employees across a Monday to Friday day-shift. Operations commence at 05:45 and end at 14:45, although there is overtime available most days. As an individual's employment progresses there are opportunities for career development through on-site TAFE training and internal training programs.

Prior experience is not essential. But essential traits that successful candidates must have are reliability, good attitude, and honesty.
