The Opportunity:

Be part of Komatsu's Construction & Utility Service team!

If you are a Technician (Diesel Fitting) looking for a Monday to Friday role, then this is it.

Reporting to the Service Supervisor, you will carry out breakdown repairs, maintenance and servicing on Komatsu's construction & utility equipment in Central QLD.

A great residential role, with housing provided and work vehicle on a Monday to Friday roster.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out maintenance, repairs and machine diagnostics on the construction & utility fleet.
  • Demonstrate technical understanding of Komatsu equipment.
  • Carry out downloads and analysis of on board computer systems.
  • Provide high quality standard of work and diagnosis by using workshop manuals.
  • Assist the customer by minimising equipment down time through practical and technical expertise.

The knowledge, skills and abilities we’re looking for:

  • Trade certificate / qualification in Heavy Diesel
  • 4-5yrs industry experience in same or similar field
  • Ability to read, analyse and understand electrical and mechanical drawings
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of local and mine specific legislation.
  • Current drivers licence & driving history report is required.
  • Previous experience with construction size equipment.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
