Protiviti’s Internal Audit and Financial Advisory consultants work with audit executives, management and audit committees at companies of virtually any size, public or private, to assist them with their internal audit services. This can include starting and running the activity for them on a fully outsourced basis or working with an existing internal audit function to supplement their team when they lack adequate staff or skills. Protiviti helps CFOs and financial executives strengthen their finance function and manage complex accounting issues, including non-routine situations such as financial restatements. In addition, Protiviti’s Internal Audit and Financial Advisory team helps clients assess their fraud risks and implement solutions to better manage these risks and lead investigations into financial irregularities.

Job Description:

Our Managers have primary responsibility to serving clients and ensuring the successful execution of projects. Managers strive to develop lasting relationships with client personnel and seek to further these relationships through quality product delivery. Your goal as a Manager is to understand clients’ business and demonstrate technical competence in their product group and industry. As such, you are key in developing contacts within the business community and serve as ambassadors of Protiviti in the market.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participates in engagement sales opportunities with existing and new clients
  • Manages broad range of routine responsibilities on multiple client engagements related to client project management, and business development activities
  • Effectively manages client relationships with senior personnel
  • Contributes to employee development by actively mentoring employees, creating development opportunities, and initiating and conducting training
  • Demonstrates the ability to discuss technical and industry trends in specific products/industries
  • Demonstrates ability to deliver specific product solutions to clients
  • Demonstrates expertise in specific technical areas and/or industries
  • Assists Engagement D/MD in managing engagement risk
  • Participates in recruiting efforts to support Protiviti business objectives
  • Enhances Protiviti’s market presence and exposure to develop opportunities with new clients

EDUCATIONAL & PROFESSIONAL CREDENTIALS

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline (e.g. Accounting, Finance or Business-Related field) required
  • 5+ years in a related field, preferably in professional services and/or Government
  • Professional Certification such as CIA, CA, CPA or CISA strongly preferred
  • “Big 4” experience in Internal Audit strongly preferred

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Prior management and direct supervisory experience in a team environment
  • Must work well in a team-oriented environment and independently
  • Must work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Demonstrated excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent project management, client relationship and time management skills
  • Demonstrated mentoring and people development skills
  • Must be able to handle highly confidential information in a strictly professional manner

ABILITY TO TRAVEL: Travel throughout the month as required based on client requests/commitments

Salary starts from $90,000
