The Role

As the Residential Support Partner, you will be positioned at Mount Martha Valley aged care home. You will report directly to the Residential Partner Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing knowledge of aged care clinical and technical practice
  • Ensuring ACFI maintenance of documentation and reporting is accurate
  • Professional support for the business partners across Royal Freemasons
  • Ensuring Aged Care Accreditation Standards are met
  • Direction and supervision of staff, be a mentor to others
  • Assists the homes’ staff to achieve best outcomes for residents.
  • Reporting to and consulting with Manager Clinical Practice on matters
  • Understanding budgets and key operational drivers
  • Knowledge in the execution of nursing interventions and procedures
  • Clinical assessment and decision-making with regard to interventions, reporting and professional best practice
  • Accurate understanding of key performance driver documents and spreadsheets
  • Provide best customer service protocols to ensure resident satisfaction
  • Working in an open, supportive and cooperative manner with other employees

Skills and Experience

The successful applicant will be qualified in aged care and clinical nursing

  • Division 1 Registered Nurse with current and valid AHPRA registration
  • Previous experience in a Clinical Care Nursing position (3 + years)
  • Exposure to the Aged Care Industry (caring for high care and dementia residents)
  • Experience leading and developing other employees
  • Solid understanding of aged care clinical quality systems
  • Excellent communication, problem identification and resolution skills
  • Sound financial and business management skills
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm, energy, inquisitiveness, initiative and innovative thinking
  • Leads by example, provides mentorship and conducts oneself in an exemplary manner
