The role:

This position presents an opportunity for an individual with demonstrated Facilities Management experience to join the BOQ team providing support to frontline and support centre staff with solutions for property related requests, including emergency support, maintenance requests and contractor management.

You will be respnsible for the coordination of all aspects of building management and essential services for the BOQ Commercial Retail Property Portfolio via contract management; as well as ensuring "value add" and optimum service delivery to stakeholders. Key focus for this role will be on continuous improvement and innovation to move towards best in class service provider supervision and stakeholder management.

This role will be responsible for:

  • Providing financial and administrative support including raising purchase orders, processing invoices and providing appropriate reporting.
  • Coordination of all facilities services and contractors (inclusive of SLA management), contractor induction, security and workplace health and safety compliance
  • Supporting the property operations team with complex events and ad hoc projects.
  • Continuous improvement, ownership of property related issues and value add to stakeholders so they can focus on core business.
  • Manage service provider relationships to drive mutually beneficial outcomes in line with business strategy and objectives.
  • Consistently be innovative and forward thinking. Work towards a pro-active approach to all property related services with a view of adding value wherever possible.
  • Work with the National Portfolio Manager to meet all Legislative and BOQ compliance requirements. (Including Australian Standards, BCA, DDA) along with BOQ Group WHS Policies and Procedures.
  • Provide regular reporting as required to the National Portfolio Manager, Group Asset Manager and Head of Procurement and Property.

About You:

  • Demonstrated background in facilities coordination and or the coordination of maintenance, trades or service technicians
  • Experience in the coordination of minor projects (across multiple sites)
  • Experience in the management and coordination of complex property matters involving multiple stakholders (Landlord/Service)
  • Experience in financial management/contract administration
  • Demonstrated exceptional communication & customer service ethos
  • This role works within a close knit team and will suit an individual with a collaborative nature
  • Intermediate skills across Microsoft Office Suite
  • A demonstrated interest and motivation to pursue a career in facilities management.
