What you will be doing
As a Process Maintenance Technician €“ Electrical Instrumentation with Newmont you will be required to monitor and maintain equipment in this large crushing and processing plant ensuring we continue to meet and exceed our targets of approximately 117,000 tonne per day.
You will carry out servicing and electrical maintenance for all electrical equipment located in the Process Maintenance Department€™s area of responsibility. You will ensure maintenance activities are completed in a safe, efficient and effective manner and will be responsible for maximising the amount of scheduled maintenance and minimising the impact of unscheduled works.
Who you are
You will have previous experience in the operation and maintenance of electrical, electronic and instrumentation equipment used in a mining or large industrial processing environment. A proactive approach and ability to problem solve along with self-motivation will be highly regarded.
