The position is part time working three days per week (0.6FTE) and a preference to work Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. This will be discussed with the successful applicant.
Clifford Park Special School has a strong belief that all students can learn and should have equitable access to educational services. We aim to provide a supportive learning environment where individual students achieve educational outcomes to assist them in their transition to post-school life.
Clifford Park Special School provides educational programs for secondary age students with disabilities. It consists of two campuses. The Rob Street campus provides programs for students with intellectual and/or multiple impairments who require high levels of educational support. Facilities include modern teaching blocks, a heated indoor swimming pool as well as wireless access to the internet in all classrooms. All buildings are wheelchair accessible.
The Denise Kable Campus, located on Ramsay Street is unique and continues to evolve and respond to the changing demands and priorities of the Department of Education. Currently, the Toowoomba Positive Learning Centre, Behaviour Support Team and Special Education Life Skills programs operate from this site.
