We are now seeking a mission-driven individual to help lead our Outbound Fulfillment team in Australia!
What does a typical workday look like?
As our Team Leader for our Outbound Fulfillment team in our Warehouse, you’ll be in charge of ensuring all outbound shipments are out the door within the service promise of the company, forecasting how much work is coming in and ensuring enough people are on the floor to get the job done.
You’ll coach our team of Fulfillment Specialists and Warehouse Assistants, work with our Trainers to ensure they are following day-to-day procedures and recognize individual and team accomplishments. You’ll also be responsible for setting team goals, weekly labour planning and assisting with selecting and developing employees.
You’ll be the main point of contact for the team, handling any employee requests or concerns and you’ll communicate with other departments to remind them of any orders that are close to target deadline. We’ll also need your expertise in fulfillment and inventory to come up with innovative ways to challenge the status quo and improve our processes!
The successful candidate would normally be working between the hours of 8 AM to 6 PM (Mon-Fri) for a total of 38 hours/week. However, given the current COVID-19 pandemic, the current working hours are 12 hour shifts, 3.5 days on and 3.5 days off per week, for the foreseeable future.
