We are a small Melbourne-based company established for over 30 years. We work within the outdoor decor and landscaping industry as a wholesaler to stores all over Australia.We partake in both importing & distribution as well as manufacturing here on site.
Due to recent grown in our business we are looking for an 'All rounder' to join us in the office, who is available to start immediately.
The position is for casual part time hours with the possibility for fixed part time hours moving forward.
Job tasks and responsibilities:
- Answering telephone
- Use of RECKON accounting software
- Correspondence with customers and suppliers via phone and email
- Basic accountancy
- Organisation of dispatch
Skills and experience
As they say you can teach skills but you cant teach attitude and work ethic. We are looking for someone who will be a positive addition to our team, they need to be enthusiastic and constantly striving to improve.
- Physically fit
- Office/ customer service experience
- Chinese or Vietnamese as a second language would be a huge advantage! (English must be first language)
- Able to communicate in a professional manner both via email and telephone
- Familiarity with RECKON (preferred)
- Self motivated and proactive approach to work
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently & in a small team
