The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Uniform Coordinator to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 10 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to over 550,000 people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will take responsibility for

*
Maintaining a tidy, neat, functional and safe workspace within the uniform room, the storage room and the changing rooms

*
Undertaking best practice inventory management techniques, including rotation of stock, keeping stored stock in an orderly manner, implementing strategies to prevent stock depletion for all items and conducting biannual stock takes

*
Networking across other Hospital and Health Services in the pursuit of rotating slow-moving items/sizing so that inventory is not retained unnecessarily

*
Understanding and administering the provision of uniforms under the correct enterprise bargaining agreement, entitlement, and policy or endorsed agreement

* Raising purchase requests and issuing uniforms under the procurement and financial guidelines including goods receipting, reconciliation of invoices, utilising the approved financial management system (S4Hana)

Requirements for the role

*
Demonstrated use of financial management system (S4Hana or FAMMIS)

*
Demonstrated experience in retail or other inventory management practices

*
Sound knowledge of computer programs including MS Outlook, Excel, Word and Visio

* It is a condition of employment in this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against the following vaccine preventable diseases during their employment: measles, mumps, rubella, varicella (chicken pox), pertussis (whooping cough) and hepatitis B

Base salary ranging from $60 981 - $66 872 per fortnight

Up to 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
