about the role

We are working with our clients who are seeking experienced Machine Operators for roles in both Albury and Wodonga. Duties in these roles could include:

  • Work within a fast paced environment
  • Operation of various type of production machinery and equipment
  • Ensuring production lines are operational and ready to run according to the production schedule
  • Performing machine set-up, changeovers and basic maintenance
  • Operation of material handing equipment including High Reach, Aisle Master, Pallet Jacks and Counterbalance Forklifts
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Undertake a wide range of associated tasks to support the team, including replenishment, picking, stacking and palletizing goods as well as forklift operations
  • Operation of overhead gantry cranes
  • Working shift work, including afternoons, evening, nights and weekends - either on rotation or permanent basis

skills and experience

To be considered for these roles you will need:

  • Recent blue collar work experience
  • A minimum of two years experience as a production operator or machine operator, with experiences in fast paced production environments
  • A minimum of twelve months experience utilising material handling equipment including forklifts - experience with high reach forklifts, bulky goods (including steel) and unwrapped loads is desirable
  • Ability to undertake shift work, including afternoons, evening, nights and weekends - either on rotation or permanent basis
  • High level of physical fitness and strength
  • Excellent attendance, reliability and attention to detail
