This role focuses on understanding dark energy and dark matter using next generation data sets. This includes but is not limited to, cosmological theory, dark energy phenomenology, large scale structure theory and observations (including peculiar velocities and lensing), supernova cosmology, and/or gravitational waves.
The candidate will have access to the substantial resources of the ARC Laureate Fellowship, and would be invited to help drive the direction of the group, including selection and co-supervision of PhD students and honours students. Our group has active collaborations with DES, DESI, 4MOST, LSST, and ASKAP and access to the ESO optical telescopes and Australian observing and computing facilities.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate in undergraduate teaching, and to supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research students. Ample travel funding will be available.

This is a full-time, fixed term position at Academic level A or B.
The full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range $86,678.42 - $115,888.95, plus super of up to 17%.
