This large corporate, is seeking a high performing, results driven Internal Audit/Process Improvement specialist to join their dynamic Internal Audit team. This fantastic opportunity will see you immediately join an organisation that has sustained its position as market leader for many years and has experienced it's continuous growth and expansion even during the current COVID situation. This standalone role will be responsible for various projects throughout the business.

Reporting to the Head of Audit, Risk and Process Improvement Manager, your responsibilities include:

  • Continuous monitoring of business processes to identify risks
  • Maintenance of risk register and development of rolling internal audit plan, including risk audit, process improvement and investigate projects
  • Ability to take complete control and execute all audits, risk, process improvement and investigate projects as required - ensuring you have continuous process improvement across the business at the forefront of your mind
  • Able to manage change and transition in an ever-changing industry
  • Trusted advisor to all business units across the organisation
  • Liaising with external auditor and other external stakeholders
  • Facilitating the audit function's compliance in line with international standards for the professional practice of internal auditing

To be considered for this opportunity, you will ideally have a background from professional services accounting (Big 4 or 2nd Tier) and within a large corporate where you will be able to demonstrate superior technical knowledge in internal audit, risk and process improvement. You will be self driven, high performing, and have achieved various awards throughout your education and career to date.

If you're a candidate that possesses high attention to detail, a strong work ethic to meet tight deadlines, willingness to challenge yourself, impeccable communication with the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, then this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.

In addition to your accounting qualifications (CA and ideally CIA), you will possess excellent communication skills and a proven track record of exceeding expectations in a professional environment. A generous salary package and other benefits will be offered to the successful candidate.
