Head of Unit - Rehabilitation Medicine

An exciting opportunity is available for a motivated and innovative Head of Unit of Rehabilitation Medicine to permanently join our Division of Aged, Cancer and Continuing Care at Western Health. This role will be key in leading and shaping a high functioning, collaborative and progressive Rehabilitation Service that meets the needs of the diverse and growing community of the West.

To be Successful in this Role you

  • Will have experience in providing clinical care and medical leadership for Rehabilitation medical staff and collaboratively working with a multidisciplinary team
  • Will have interest and motivation in investigating and progressing innovative models of care across the Western Health Rehabilitation Service
  • Will need to oversee the management of the financial budgets, medical staffing requirements and activity targets, to ensure services are fully integrated and providing high quality, safe care
