Assistant Store Manager - Launceston - Full-time - Permanent

The Opportunity

Are you an energetic and friendly person? Do you find it easy to talk to people? Are you naturally upbeat and positive? We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our Launceston team on a full-time basis (37.5 hours per week). The role will be responsible for not only growing our membership portfolios through external business development but assisting the Territory Manager in leading and managing the store and its employees.

This exciting sales and managerial opportunity will be a mix of mobile and self-generate business through several lead-generation channels including partnerships, members choice providers, referrers, self-generated corporate business, migration agents, local area marketing, and SME (small to medium enterprise) as well as servicing our existing members in the store when required.

Where you can add value:

  • Finding sales opportunities in each customer interaction by providing solutions to our customers’ needs;
  • Proactively seeking new business relationships while managing existing ones;
  • Organising and participating in promotional activities, including corporate activations and marketing campaigns hosted within the community at local shopping centres, community events, and open days.
  • Effectively planning and executing consistent pipelines of self-generated BD (business development) activity for the local catchment, including sourcing, follow-up, presenting, and activating opportunities.
