The Role

We are looking for a full time Head Cook with great capability of taking ownership, leading the kitchen team and ensuring that recipes and procedures are being followed in detail.

Our open kitchen busy stores require a dynamic personality and willingness to work in a highly demanding environment while maintaining quality, following OH&S procedures and providing the best customer service experience.

Key areas of responsibility

Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, the a Cook/Head Cook is required to lead the kitchen team and ensure the effective running of day to day kitchen operations and that recipes and procedures are being followed in detail.

Our open plan kitchens and fast paced Restaurants mean we require a Cook/Head Cook with a dynamic personality and willingness to work in a highly demanding environment while maintaining quality, following OH&S procedures and providing the best customer dining experience.

To be successful in this role, you should have/be:

  • Experience in leading a demanding kitchen environment is essential
  • Qualifications Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or at least 3 years work experience.
  • Leadership experience and outstanding communications skills
  • Passion for food, quality and customer service
  • Sound knowledge of OH&S
  • Great time management skills
  • Capacity for following procedures and guaranteeing consistency
