This is an exciting opportunity to join an established horticultural based agribusiness in a newly created role. Reporting to a General Manager, this position will direct financial reporting, accounting practices and information systems strategy for the business.

As a key member of the management team, responsibilities will include preparing the financial reports for the business, monthly accounts & costing analysis, and the provision of management reports to various business teams enabling them to effectively manage their budgets. In addition, it is envisaged the successful applicant will assist in analysing studies of general economic, business, and financial conditions and their impact on the business.

Ideally, the successful candidate will be a CPA/CA qualified candidate with more than five years experience and proficiency in accounting software packages and strong skills in Microsoft Excel essential. The successful candidate will also have strong interpersonal skills, be an effective communicator, be able to demonstrate business acumen and strategic thinking and be able to demonstrate an ability to use their initiative when making day to day business observations and analysis.
