Duratec is a multi-disciplined builder and maintenance contractor and regarded as one of Australia's fastest growing privately owned companies with over 15 branches across Australia servicing the mining, oil and gas, industrial and marine industries along with government assets and commercial infrastructure including heritage buildings.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Our Northwest Operations are currently seeking an experienced and competent Mechanical Trades Person that holds current Crane and Rigging tickets as well as a HR drivers licence for a full time role FIFO from Perth on a 2:1 roster on one of our Structural Integrity Projects.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for servicing of plant/equipment and vehicles
  • Operating cranes as required
  • Operating forklift as required
  • Driving HR trucks as required
  • Conducting Rigging and Dogging duties as required

ABOUT YOU:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Mechanical Trade Qualification - Minimum Requirement
  • HR Driving Licence - Minimum Requirement
  • Crane Driving Ticket - Minimum Requirement
  • Forklift Ticket - Minimum Requirement
  • Advanced Rigging Qualification - Minimum Requirement
  • Rio Tinto Inductions (highly regarded)
  • Strong team player
  • Proactive, good timekeeping and reliable
