InfraBuild Construction Solutions is a premier supplier of steel reinforcing solutions to tier 1 builders and mega infrastructure projects across Australia. Servicing commercial, residential and civil construction as well as the mining, agriculture and manufacturing sectors.

About the role

Joining our Victoria Operations team based in Derrimut, Noble Park or Laverton this role will be dynamic and will offer a unique opportunity to experience a changing business. You will gain an understanding of manufacturing, despatch and delivery opportunities by walking the floor with our site employees and crunching the numbers and then influence our business leaders through your reporting and application of Lean methodologies. Key duties will include:

  • Development of systems for operational efficiency measurement
  • Partner with project teams to develop reporting processes
  • Tracking and reporting business improvement using GEM and other appropriate software
  • Coordinate process improvement including hosting continuous improvement forums.
About your experience

You will have a comprehensive background in Engineering and Process Improvement and will be looking for a role you can aggressively drive improvement in. You’ll be able to think and work across the business and be able to energize and influence others at all levels.

You will also ideally have;

  • Proven track record in Industrial Engineering
  • Training in Lean methodologies and experience applying Lean tools for manufacturing
  • Experience in cross-functional process improvement teams in a similar manufacturing business
  • Strong software knowledge including Microsoft Excel, SAP, JDE, and SQL
  • A proven record of strong consulting and relationship management.
