About the role

Reporting to the Chief Data & Technology Officer; you will be responsible for developing and improving technology that creates new revenue streams, adds value to our membership experience and supports CHOICE’s advocacy and media goals.

• Identify and translate Business requirements into system specifications using process maps and scoping documents
• Perform due diligence including cost benefit analysis both rigorously and objectively with the end users in mind
• Fully understand, manage and communicate interdependencies & expectations of multiple projects across the organisation
• Facilitate workshops regularly to garner stakeholder engagement, user acceptance and seamless adoption
• Ensure continuous process improvement culture is embedded with process owners and SMEs.

As the primary contact point between the Technology team and process owners within the organisation you will have the opportunity to research and shape critical strategic projects.

About You:

You know how to bridge the gap between what can be done and how best to deliver business critical change projects.

You have gravitated to roles that have involved implementing or optimising technology as you enjoy working on multiple projects in agile working environments.

• Formal qualifications in information systems, business or a related discipline
• Thorough understanding of software development principles and practices
• Highly proficient with business process mapping principles and tools
• Commitment to continuous learning in project management fundamentals (agile and waterfall methodologies)
