Merrington Optometry is a family owned Australian Optometry practice seeking a friendly, hard working and reliable receptionist. Experience is wonderful but not required. Great for school leavers.Training available but applicant must be proficient in English and Maths.

Duties may include: welcoming visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries. Maintaining patient records, scheduling appointments, assisting with vision tests and teaching patients how to use and care for contact lenses. Directing and prepping visitors to the optical specialists. Lens production.

This position is based for our Niddrie practice but you will be required to assist at our other practice in Gisborne. Must have own car and license. Must be willing to work Saturdays, and be available between Christmas and New year annually. Please email resume to merringtonappt@gmail.com
