The Practice This innovative, research-driven group of leading specialists and surgeons are expanding and with onboarding currently underway to welcome new specialists and surgeons to their group. This requires additional administration resources to ensure the highest quality of patient service and seamless coordination of treatment is maintained.

The Role The Medical Secretary/Administration Assistant will provide A-Class support across the practice. It is a varied and unique position with interaction occurring across all teams within the group.

Areas of Reception and Administration responsibility includes:
  • Making patient appointments for consultations and requesting diagnostic imaging
  • Assisting the Personal Assistants with admin in support of the smooth running of their specialist's practice
  • Answering and directing telephone calls, incoming and outgoing
  • Correct handling of patient enquiries
  • Process and distribute all mail for the group
  • Review and follow up Ozescribe letters
  • Manage the recall list
  • The timely management of fax, email, mail correspondence
About You You'll have accumulated a solid foundation of Medical Receptionist/Secretary skills and now look to expand that knowledge. With a wide range of admin skills under your belt, you’ll adapt quickly to your new working environment, quickly offering support to your colleagues that will enable you to become an indispensable part of the team. You'll combine your skill with the flexibility to work in different parts of the practice, excellent communication and follow up a mature attitude, and eagerness to develop and grow as part of a dedicated team. If you have Genie software knowledge, great! If not, you’ll be ready and happy to learn.
