About the Role Based in Muswellbrook, the Wanaruah Aboriginal Land Council is seeking an experienced Chief Executive Officer to effectively manage the operations of the LALC in accordance with delegated authorities. You will work closely with the Board to provide sound and accurate advice to enable the Board to make sound and informed decisions, providing operational and technical expertise and to assist the Board in its connection with the business. Leading the business, you will ensure that all people you work with, being the Board, staff members, community or clients are provided with efficient and quality service. You will have the ability to prepare and write community grants and have experience working within the Xero system. About You With strong knowledge and experience working at an Executive level, you will have experience in delivering results and ensuring that the good reputation of the Council is upheld. In carrying out your duties you will observe and conform to all the laws and customs of the business conducted by the Council. You will have excellent communication skills and demonstrated leadership skills to work collaboratively with all stakeholders. With strong knowledge and experience of NSW LALC legislation, excellent communication and leadership skills and a strong connection and active voice for Aboriginal people, you will deliver on key strategic initiatives and priorities.
