AcceptMe - Who Are We?

ACCEPTme identified a gap in industry between graduates and employers. Graduates had no professional workplace experience and employers were looking for employees to fill vacancies within their business that had previous work experience. ACCEPTme was created as a conduit between graduates and industry to bridge the divide and educate both sides about the benefit of undertaking an Internship.

ACCEPTme support, coach and mentor Interns on how to conduct themselves in a work environment and also to be the 'voice' for students and graduates in Australia, ensuring their on-the-job learning is consistent with industry standards and workplace requirements. The ACCEPTme platform offers a fiscally sensible approach to the current market providing structured internship projects that can be completed onsite with a host company or remotely via an inbuilt web interface and project management platform. This remote access framework allows for distance learning for Interns living in remote regional areas that miss out on opportunities.

Business/Company overview

Our client has a problem in the ongoing management of stock control. The difficulty in categorising, pricing, processing, tracking, bar-coding, labelling, and finalising the presentation of the stock in the correct packaging.

With international warehouses and sophisticated software tracking systems we require an intern who is motivated, hard working, diligent and able to not only learn and understand the programs involved, make recommendations, but also work through those recommendations to produce a solution.

We believe that if a intern applies who is willing to learn how to manage and resolve problems covering multi-levels of complexity (warehouse tracking, packaging levels, pricing etc) then he will have great success!

Areas of learning:

Warehousing / Office Management:

  • Learn all aspects of Office Management and logistical processes as you work with stock barcoding, presentation and organization. This will include a daily stock check component.
  • Develop a role for you that utilize your processing, quality management and marketing skills.
  • A thorough overview of the purchase ordering systems that the company currently utilizes and the development of an inhouse process manual (also a training guide) as well as an intranet ordering system.
  • This will cover all areas of invoicing, stock management and warehousing.
    From this you will use your processing and quality management skills to develop JIT systems
  • (JIT) stock replacement performance indicators and improve our supplier order tracking and reporting system using MYOB.
  • Your accounting skills will be developed in assisting the stock controller with stock analysis and tracking, ordering, systems, processes and reconciliations.
  • You will find this role challenging, but fulfilling, interesting and varied.


  • Simplify and systematize the warehousing of packaging
  • Create a logistics plan and create better functionality for the warehouse system.
  • Order, sort and organise this area, Develop a warehousing and purchase order system via intranet within the organisation,
  • Develop a purchase order tracking system and implement, create and deliver a training manual for the system
  • Review and report on all packaging used throughout the organisation

Stock Control:

  • Reporting analysis systems, Sold stock COS calculation and analysis, budget systems development

About you:

The successful candidate will be a ‘go getter’ and work towards achieving the overall goals and objectives of this project. The client requires people that are strong problem solvers, have the initiative to work on projects independently and also are forward thinking.

Technical knowledge/skills:

  • Experienced with relevant industry technologies and systems
  • Logistics related qualification (completed or on the way to completion)
  • Commit to 2 - 3 days a week for a professional internship
  • Working between Monday to Friday each week with weekly catch up sessions with the client
