About the Department:
The Department of General Practice is part of the Melbourne Medical School, within the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences, The University of Melbourne. The Department promotes excellence in general practice through teaching and learning, research and research training, and knowledge transfer to general practitioners and primary care nurses.
About the role
The role will be responsible for coordinating the Department’s practice-based research network, VicREN. The activities will include support for committees; engagement and communication activities; undertaking project planning and management, including budgets, to complete VicREN initiated research projects and other approved commissioned research. VicREN projects involve qualitative and quantitative methods; establishing and maintaining relationships with members of the primary care community, e.g., general practitioners, practice managers, nurses, research collaborators, clinic staff and VicREN members; data management and analysis; and writing tasks.
