About the role
As Finance Transformation Analyst, you will be pivotal in driving initiatives and projects relating to business improvement, and process improvements and opportunities initiated or lead by Chancellery Finance. You will provide in depth analysis especially pertaining (but not limited) to revenue modelling, cost allocation, University student funding, revenue projections and analysis to support the Melbourne Model and the financial framework. You will also influence and inform finance systems development, processes and updates, in partnership with the Senior Finance analyst – systems and processes.
In close collaboration with the team, you will manage projects and provide advice/analysis and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects, partnering with key subject matter experts across the University. Key components of the role will include developing and implementing communications strategies, stakeholder management, producing high quality reports for management, and information management to support the end to end delivery of projects and to ensure their rigour and success.
You will be an adept problem-solver with demonstrated ability to provide business analysis and modelling on various topics. Your strong technical skillset is complimented by excellent interpersonal skills allowing you to communicate and collaborate with a wide variety of stakeholders. You build positive, lasting relationships across the organisation and know how to influence key stakeholder through data reporting as well as a little humour.
