In addition, our resources and assets are located within all the major offshore energy hubs around the world.

Currently, eight of 62 vessels in the global fleet are located in the Regional Asia Pacific (APAC) Fleet. The fleet operates in three segments of the offshore services market: PSV (Platform Supply Vessels), AHTS (Anchor Handling Tug Supply Vessels), and Subsea (Subsea Vessels and Subsea engineering services).

The role

Due to an internal promotion we have an exciting opportunity for a Crewing Team Leader to join our dynamic crewing team. This is a permanent, Perth based role, reporting to and deputising for the Crew Manager, Asia Pacific.

The Crewing Team Leader will supervise and support the Crew Coordinators with day to day Crewing operations across our Vessels and Projects, to enable the Crew Manager to focus on delivering our strategy.

Servicing eight vessels and numerous subsea projects, our Crewing Team ensure that our highly competent marine and subsea crew travel safely, to the required locations across Asia Pacific, on time and meeting the required regulations and country legislation.

The world we now operate in, means that the Crewing Team is faced with ever changing logistical challenges. If you have a can-do attitude and a drive to overcome obstacles, then we would like to hear from you.

The Crewing Team Leader will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing employment contracts and associated documentation, ensuring accuracy, validity, appropriately signed and in accordance with flag state/international requirements.
  • Support the maintenance, retention and development of our skilled and experienced resource pool (Project Subsea Crew and Marine Crew) and the associated systems and records management.
  • Supporting the Crew Manager and deputising as and when required.

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • An experienced Senior Crew Coordinator or Team Leader.
  • Considerable Marine Crewing experience is essential (whilst the role will support the crewing of both Marine and Subsea Project Crew, it is Marine Crewing experience in the Oil & Gas/Energy sector, where we would like to add more depth in our team).
  • Experience with and an understanding of Marine Enterprise Agreements (how to interpret them and how to apply the clauses and respective remuneration, for Agreement compliance) and an understanding of the associated Industrial Relations landscape.
  • Strong communication skills, as you will be constantly liaising and communicating with crew and colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds.

If you are happy to roll your sleeves up, work hard in a team and approach your work with flexibility to meet our operational challenges then please apply. In return we offer a friendly and supportive work environment. Our employees tell us that the best thing about DOF is our people and a great team environment.

We offer flexibility with an option to work from home for one or two days a week.
