About the opportunity: This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and commercially minded RTO Compliance Manager to lead, drive and influence compliance across a growing RTO, whilst overseeing the quality and compliance of Government education programs and VET qualifications.
With responsibility for all regulatory audits, ASQA compliance, the VET Quality Framework and Standards for RTOs, the Compliance Manager will balance compliance risk with business objectives, whilst establishing and monitoring training and assessment strategies and committing to ongoing continuous process improvement initiatives.

To be successful you should have:
Previous experience in a similar role in the Vocational Education and Training industry
Demonstrated understanding of the VET Quality Framework with superior knowledge of the Standards for RTOs 2015, the VET Quality Framework and annual ASQA reporting requirements
Demonstrated experience in the preparation of internal compliance checks and participation in funding and regulatory compliance audits such as Smart and Skilled
Experience working in a complex matrix organisation delivering State and Federal Government funded programs and Employment Services
A commercial focus with the ability to negotiate and manage change to meet regulatory requirements, considering the operational needs of the business
Maintaining the RTO’s scope of registration including transition, removal and addition of qualifications and units of competency
TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or higher (essential)
Degree or qualification in a relevant educational discipline (preferred)
Relevant auditing qualifications or accreditations (preferred)
Ability to lead, drive and influence compliance across the RTO and to work collaboratively with other divisions and the Instructional Design team
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills – including the ability to write technical documentation such as polices, standard operating procedures, and work instructions
Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check and Police Clearance
