As a Security Architect in our Architecture, Automation and Cloud team your impact will be seen by:

  • Understanding and communicating security requirements and solutions
  • Designing security and cloud security solutions
  • Determining security maturity and recommend appropriate cloud security strategy
  • Providing leadership on cloud security consulting engagement pursuits
  • Reviewing and recommending business process improvements and technical improvements to systems, applications and security controls
  • Reporting and presenting to technical and business stakeholders
  • Training and development of junior staff members

About you

This position will require solid experience and knowledge of cloud, security strategy and solution design. You will work both autonomously and as part of a collaborative team depending on our clients’ requirements. You will display a passion for security and demonstrate thought leadership to business leaders who are seeking advice from experts that understand how to design tailored, robust and pragmatic solutions that meet business and compliance needs. You must have an attention to detail and be focused on quality delivery, ensuring client satisfaction at all times. It is important that you possess an ability to form solid relationships with external clients as well as your team.

  • At least 6 years’ experience within Cyber security, cloud computing and solution design
  • Professional services and/ or management consulting experience preferred
  • Working experience in one or more of the core security domains: GRC, IAM, Security Operations, Application, Data, Mobile or Infrastructure Security
  • Cloud service models and cloud security concepts
  • Design and implementation experience in cloud and security solutions
  • Security architecture
  • Good understanding of the security solution marketspace
  • Familiarity with security frameworks such as Cloud Security Alliance (CSA)
  • Knowledge on ISO/IE 27001 standards
