110k p.a. + options + 10% super | Flexible (Full time or Part Time, remote working options)

Umps provides smart-home technology to support older Australians can remain safe, well and independent at home. We’re currently working with the largest care providers in Australia and have a clear line of sight to deploy our tech to hundreds of thousands of customers over the next 3 years.

We’re now looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to build Umps’ marketing function. This role would suit a mid-career marketer hungry for an opportunity to ‘step-up’ to a Head of Marketing role in the next 18 months.

The job.

  • You’ll be responsible for building Umps’ marketing function from the ground up, including:
  • Defining our marketing strategy to support our B2B sales strategy, driving MQLs and supporting internal and partner sales teams to take leads through to customers;
  • Selecting and establishing our marketing tech-stack, including the redevelopment of our website to better reflect our focus on B2B sales;
  • Implementing your strategy, with a focus on digital marketing channels;
  • Building the marketing team. You will act as a line manager for the next marketer at Umps and manage work across a number of freelancers.

What we’re looking for.

  • An ability to think strategically and a ‘whole of business’ perspective;
  • A do-er, with the capability to take a key role in the implementing your strategy;
  • An appreciation of end-to-end B2B sales, and experience implementing a B2B marketing strategy;
  • A high proficiency in relevant areas of digital marketing, with experience driving MQLs through digital channels;
  • Experience working in a small team or startup (or an appreciation of how this differs from larger companies);
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in marketing;
  • At least 2 years' of experience working in a relevant field.

Remuneration

110k base + options + 10% superannuation

Location

Our team is in Melbourne, with most working 1 to 3 days a week from our office. The right candidate could perform this role from anywhere, and we will consider applicants outside of Victoria.
