About the Person: Working within a small dynamic and collaborative team you will have a freelance mentality and thrive in a fast passed, energetic environment with competing priorities. You will have an appreciation for the Arts sector and have the natural ability to create engaging communications campaigns that relate to your audience.
About the role: You will work closely with the Head of Marketing & Development and the Artistic Director to develop, lead and implement all marketing campaigns and activities. You will be forward-thinking and manage the communications strategy in line with the performance calendar. Your messaging will be clear and relevant.
Lead the look, feel and shape of each Opera season
Advice on all public-facing communications
Work collaboratively with and manage agencies and suppliers
Control the annual marketing, promotion, design, and print budgets
Support the Leadership Team in building an engaging opera community
Optimise marketing tools and analyse data to ensure the campaigns are successful
Maintain brand integrity across all marketing and communications activities and materials
Skills & experience:
Ability to work on multiple timelines/projects simultaneously
Experience delivering engaging distinctive campaigns within budget
Entrepreneurial flair and an appreciation for opera
Effective manager of third-party agencies/suppliers
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a dynamic, small team environment that requires taking responsibility for a diverse range of activities
A willingness to take on new challenges roles and responsibilities and adapt positively to changing working conditions
Skilled at building rapport, understanding others needs and priorities proactively to deliver excellent results without directive supervision, and developing effective working relationships
