Your new role As a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst, the role will act as the first line of defence in ensuring the bank meets its CDD and ECDD obligations for Global Client Onboarding. By providing expert knowledge of domestic and international regulatory standards and guidance, analysis and reporting on trends to the GCO team and Senior Management to ensure the capability uplift across the teams. Your daily activities will be to: - Provide line 1 assurance testing on IB&M Know Your Client files to ensure domestic and international (China, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, United Kingdom, United States and New Zealand) customer due diligence regulatory requirements are met - Provide quality advice to our Operations teams on relevant AML/CTF legislations, Group's standards and procedures - Undertake the upskilling of KYC knowledge for all new and changing processes and operations within Global Client Onboarding - Manage timelines, data consolidation and ensure appropriate stakeholder management and engagement is achieved - Ensuring regulatory obligations are met and evidenced and SME's and team members are aware of their responsibilities at different stages of the process of preparation and review - Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives and action plans to uplift QA results - Actively engage in continuous learning and development Ensure SLA's and team targets are met or exceeded - Assist in the development and updating of Process Maps, User Guides & SOP's whilst also completing any required administrative tasks
What you'll need to succeed Your previous relative experience will assist in being successful for this role as will the following: - Ability to proactively identify and understand, openly discuss and act on current and future risks. - Understanding of AU, NZ, US, UK, SG and HK AML/CTF Programs - Highly developed verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate trends and insights to a large range of stakeholders - Continuous improvement mindset - Excellent time management skills - Experience in performing a combination of KYC or Quality Assurance in Institutional banking - Strong regulatory knowledge of on boarding, know your client (KYC), anti-money laundering (AML) and compliance frameworks - Diploma in Applied AML/CTF Management (desirable) or Tertiary qualification in finance/business/law or a relevant discipline is desirable - Permanent Residency or Australian Citizenship required for this permanent role
